Nano Banana Pro API pricing: $0.02 per image, Google charges $0.134

Nano Banana Pro (gemini-3-pro-image-preview) is Google's Gemini 3 Pro image model, strong at legible text, product shots and editing with many reference images. On aisplice a 1K or 2K image costs $0.02, against $0.134 on Google's own API, and its faster sibling Nano Banana 2 starts at $0.012. Price per image

Google's figures are the standard paid-tier output prices on Gemini API pricing (checked 2026-10-20); Google bills the prompt and reference images as input tokens on top. Here the price per image is the whole bill:

• Every aspect ratio costs the same.
• Up to 14 reference images do not change the price.
• A failed or refused generation is refunded automatically.
• Pay as you go from your balance; no subscription, no Google Cloud project.

Pro or 2?

• Nano Banana Pro (gemini-3-pro-image-preview): the higher quality of the two, best for text in the picture, posters and product images. 1K, 2K or 4K.
• Nano Banana 2 (gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview): cheaper and quicker, adds a 0.5K size for drafts and very wide or tall frames (1:4, 4:1, 1:8, 8:1).

Make an image

Images run as tasks: submit, get a task_id at once, check until the task has finished, then read the image URLs. Create an API key first under Get started.
